ADHD and Me
ADHD and Me is a toy brand created with the intention of appealing to children with ADHD age 5 and up. This group brand focuses on catering to cognitive disabilities children with ADHD symptoms struggle with through plush Australian animals made from knit fabric with decorative embroidered accents. Each animal appeals to a specific cognitive milestone or skillset that a child should have by age 5.
Group Color Pallet:
Being that our target market was children, with ADHD ages 5+, our group decided to chose the vivid color pallet of the Gouldian Finch. Using this color pallet on animals such as a koala and a quokka brings in an element of imagination for a child since these animals aren't typically tropical colors!
Group Fabric
For an added sense of unity among the ADHD and Me Brand, each group member additionally used the same fabric in the creation of their plush toys. All three fabrics had a knit structure allowing for a bit of stretch when stuffing with recycled sliver.
